In this joyful introduction to piano and music, children build foundational keyboard skills while exploring the piano, xylophone, glockenspiel, and percussion in a fun, creative, and hands-on environment. At Kathy & Friends Music & Movement, we believe music learning should be expressive, active, and full of discovery!
As students progress through Piano 1–2, they develop their musical skills and confidence while learning to read, play, and understand music.
What we inspire in students:
Build foundational piano and keyboard technique
Learn to read and play musical notation
Expand their note range and song repertoire
Strengthen rhythm, music theory, and listening skills
Play a variety of instruments in small group ensembles
Sing, move, and express music through playful musical games
Develop creativity, problem-solving, confidence, and musical independence
Through playful piano exploration, students begin to feel like real musicians—reading, playing, creating, and expressing themselves through music!
Play-Full Piano!Dancing fingers, hands, voices, and bodies come alive and get moving! Budding young musicians explore, create, and thrive!
Students receive a piano folder with at-home activities, games, and sheet music to enjoy with the family. Practice tutorial videos are emailed weekly. Class limited to 4–5 students.
