Wild & Musical: Carnival of Animals Theatre Camp w/Phoebe, ages 4-7 yrs

Step into the magical world of Carnival of the Animals by Saint-Saens, where music brings animals to life! In this engaging and imaginative theater camp, young musicians will explore the animal characters, orchestra, instruments, and creative movement inspired by this beloved musical masterpiece.This camp blends music appreciation, movement, and hands-on instrument fun, making it the perfect adventure for young musicians and animal lovers alike!

Camp Highlights:

-Musical Storytelling- Listen to and act out Saint-Saens Carnival of the Animals, discovering how music paints a picture of lions, swans, elephants, and more!
-Instrument Exploration- Learn about the orchestra and the instruments that bring each animal to life, from the deep sounds of the double bass to the playful piano keys.
-Creative Movement & Dance- Leap like a kangaroo, glide like a swan, and stomp like an elephant through guided movement activities.
-Rhythm & Percussion Play- Tap and shake percussion instruments, and drum along to the rhythms of the carnival! Playing ensemble and improvisation games to practice collaboration and creative team building
-Play It Up!- -Act out silly and adventurous animal characters in a mini musical performance
